Theresa Elaine Valade, CPA, is a highly accomplished Arizona-licensed Certified Public Accountant and founder of Concierge Consulting and Accounting, PLLC. Recognized by Forbes as one of the Top 10 CPAs in the state, she brings over 27 years of expertise in audits, reviews, compilations, tax strategy, business consulting, and fraud investigations, with specialized experience in nonprofits, real estate, hospitality, and financial services. A former Arthur Andersen auditor and tax partner at Moffitt & Company, Theresa has led high-profile engagements, including one of Arizona’s largest fraud investigations and IRS training audits, and frequently represents clients in mergers, acquisitions, and complex tax matters. Her firm consistently earns the highest peer review ratings, and she is a sought-after public speaker on tax reform, fraud prevention, and business operations. Committed to client success, Theresa combines technical excellence with a relationship-focused approach, guiding businesses and individuals through every stage of growth and transition.
Her areas of specialization are business consulting and advisory, audits, income tax planning and preparation, and IRS audit representation. Her industries of specialization are nonprofits, real estate, hospitality, franchises, mortgage banking and brokering, title insurance, escrow, health, and beauty.
Theresa’s also had the honor of being named 2020 CPA firm of the year for her commitment and service to her clients during the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Putting passion and personalization at the forefront Theresa has led her firm to excellence by not only providing measurable results for clients but making them feel well taken care of during times of great uncertainty.
Theresa is also a member of the prestigious, Arizona Society of CPAs, ASCPA, 100% Membership Club. David joined Concierge Consulting and Accounting, PLLC as Principal and Chief Operating Officer in May 2024, bringing over 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, and operational leadership. He oversees all accounting engagements, critical business decisions, and overall firm management, leading our largest engagements in accounting, consulting, mergers, acquisitions, and other complex business matters.
From 2020-2024, David served as CFO of Paradigm Laboratories and its affiliated entities, including Plant Safe, LLC. He played a key leadership role in operations for this $100 million enterprise, managing daily functions, financial reporting, strategic planning, and compliance. During the pandemic, David oversaw the largest laboratory in the Southwest, directing operations across Phoenix and Tucson with a staff of more than 400 employees. He later spearheaded the creation of a cannabis laboratory, leading all aspects from funding and licensing to build-out, COSO certification, staffing, operations, and profitability.
David’s prior experience includes roles in retail, automotive finance, and public accounting. He served as Principal Accountant at Moffitt & Company, P.C. for 15 years, specializing in audits, tax, and consulting across multiple industries, and as CFO of Oxygen Hospitality, where he successfully navigated the sale of two hotels during the COVID-19 pandemic. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and a Post-Baccalaureate in Accounting from Western International University. David is also an active volunteer at St. Patrick’s Catholic Community.
Dixie is a Minnesota CPA and experienced accountant. She has over 25 years of accounting in both audit and tax, but her passion is tax. After years in the cold, she decided to leave the mid west and find a new home in Sunny Arizona. We are so happy that Dixie has joined our team.
Dixie leads and manages our entire tax department. She assists and leads a team through our busiest times while delivering quality, complete and accurate tax services for our clients. She is proficient in preparation, planning, and education of federal and state income taxes for individuals, businesses, estates, trusts, and exempt organizations.
Jared Rosenthal brings a strong academic and professional background to his role as Senior Tax Accountant at our firm. Originally from New York, Jared holds a Master’s degree in Taxation and has consistently demonstrated academic excellence, earning numerous honors and distinctions throughout his studies. His passion for learning and attention to detail have equipped him with a deep understanding of complex tax and accounting matters.
Jared’s technical expertise includes proficiency in accounting standards, GAAP presentation, tax compliance, IRS procedures, and interpretation of the Internal Revenue Code. He has a proven ability to navigate intricate financial matters with accuracy and efficiency. Dedicated to advancing his professional credentials, Jared is currently preparing for the Enrolled Agent examination with the IRS and has plans to pursue his CPA license.
Beyond his technical capabilities, Jared is recognized for his professionalism, integrity, and client-focused approach. He is deeply committed to providing exceptional service and ensuring compliance while optimizing outcomes for clients. Outside of his professional work, Jared actively serves his community, reflecting his belief in giving back and making a meaningful impact.
Melissa Brown is a highly skilled accountant and controller with over a decade of experience managing the financial operations of diverse clients in the low million-dollar range. She possesses deep expertise in accounting, QuickBooks, and the design and implementation of operational processes that streamline efficiency and improve business performance.
Her professional background extends beyond traditional accounting functions, encompassing executive-level support, marketing strategy, and human resources, administration. Melissa is a proven collaborator with strong cross-functional competencies, allowing her to contribute meaningfully across all areas of a business.
Known for her professionalism and integrity, Melissa combines exceptional analytical abilities with strong communication skills to build productive relationships at all organizational levels. She is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering precise, ethical, and strategic solutions to her clients.
Jo was previously an accountant for a $60M company and their 13 subsidiaries. She is in charge of our accounting and bookkeeping department and serves our clients on their time schedule. Whether it is weekly, monthly or quarterly she helps provide reliable, useful and accurate information to our clients on their terms.
Jo performs full accrual accounting and is responsible for reconciling all accounts, journal entries, month end closing procedures and preparation of internal financial statements and analytics. She also assists in the preparation of sales and payroll tax returns. She holds a wide range of knowledge, from QuickBooks to travel (she spent most of her life in the UK), she’s your girl. She is excited to join the CCA team and ready to conquer tax season head on!
Lacie is a junior at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, also majoring in accounting. She has been named to the Dean’s List for academic achievement and excellence for three consecutive years. Currently working in our accounting and tax department, her career goal is to join a “Big Four” CPA firm after graduation to broaden her experience. Outside of her academic and professional commitments, Lacie is a cheer coach for three prep teams and tumbling coach. She is a two-time national cheer champion, and a four-time top 10 finisher at All Star Worlds-showcasing her dedication, leadership, and competitive spirit.
We are proud to welcome the third generation of accountants to our firm! Lexie is a recent graduate of ASU graduating Cum Laude from WP Carey. She received multiple honors and accomplishments during her time at ASU including Dean’s List and being a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She worked full time while going to school as a nanny and intern at our CPA firm. In her free time she volunteers as a mentor at St. Patricks’s Catholic Community in their Edge Middle School Ministry and is a young disciples core leader. She inspires and teaches groups of middle school youth between the ages of 11–13 and walks the teenage-faith journey with them. She also does public speaking with this ministry. Her passion, both in and outside of the office, demonstrates her strong sense of commitment and balance.

Oliver has been a valued member of our team for just over a year, and in that time, he’s become an expert at making everyone feel welcome. Whether it’s greeting new clients, boosting morale, or simply spreading joy, Oliver approaches every day with enthusiasm.
He’s always eager to come to the office, never misses an opportunity to make someone smile, and has an uncanny ability to brighten even the busiest tax season. We’re lucky to have him as part of our Concierge Consulting and Accounting family.
We have a Sun Devil in the house! We are honored to add to our team, Jo. She is a graduate of Arizona State University (Fear the Fork) and is looking to broaden her knowledge and understanding of business and accounting.
She is the engine of our fine-tuned machine. Her “can do” attitude, commitment to customer service and outstanding organization skills allows us to focus on what matters most, our clients.
